Family Intensives

Forrester&Assoc-Logo-Final-StampOnly-Whi

During the intention setting process, we will help you to uncover who you really are, what you want for yourself and your family, and what stands in your way. For those working with other supporting professionals, we will incorporate their insights as we plan our path forward together.

The Intensive is an extended session that gives ample time to thoroughly examine your particular situation, to understand the barriers to secure, connected relationships in your family while harnessing your family’s strengths. You will learn research-supported methods to help repair unresolved conflicts, receive in-the-moment guidance to help you see yourself and your loved ones more clearly. Depending on your family’s situation, the intensives can be one or multiple days in length. We have both virtual and in-person options available.

During the integration process, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, celebrate, and problem-solve new challenges.  This is the opportunity to practice your new awareness and skill in everyday life.

Our Goal: To create a collaboration with family members and your support team to harness the inherent strengths and resources in your family system

Full Congruence Living has years of experience guiding families who have an adolescent or young adult who is struggling. Our intensives are a powerful source of support for parents who may be experiencing confusion, guilt, anger and anxiety about what to do. We recognize how challenging it can be to parent today, and meet you with reassuring experience and compassion.

For those who have a child enrolled in a wilderness or other residential program, our work can be support for siblings, parents or other family members along the way. Research shows that young people have a much greater chance of success maintaining the progress they have made during their time in treatment when the family system changes alongside the young person. Our work seeks to build upon the family work offered by residential programs, and can be helpful before, during and after residential treatment.
